Quest University is a private university and a non-profit university. The university was founded on September 2007 with an inaugural class of 73. Quest’s curriculum is regarded as unconventional and offers one degree, the Bachelor of Arts and Sciences.

They are Canada’s first independent, not-for-profit, secular liberal arts and science university, devoted entirely to excellence in undergraduate education.

Quest University Canada is accredited by the Degree Quality Assessment Board of the province of British Columbia and is a member of the Education Quality Assurance.

The university is located in the medium-sized town of Squamish British Columbia and was accredited by the Ministry of Advanced Education, Skills & Training, British Columbia soon after its establishment. The university is a coeducational higher education institution and offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees such as pre-bachelor degrees.

 

Quest University Acceptance Rate

There is no fixed acceptance rate in the university. The acceptance rate varies depending on the areas of study, degree level, student nationality or residence, and other criteria.

 

Quest University Courses

The university offers only one degree, a Bachelor of Arts and Science, and operates on the one-course-at-a-time Block Plan. The first two years at the university constitute the Foundation Program, which offers a balance among the sciences, social sciences, humanities, and the arts.

In the final two years, of the Concentration Program, students take part in creating their program of learning by developing a ‘Question’ to guide their studies. The basis for developing the ‘Question’ is that it must be interdisciplinary, have a global context, involve experiential learning off-campus, and culminate in a Keystone project and public presentation.

 

How to Apply for Quest University Canada

Applicants can apply to Quest University online by clicking here. The university accepts both domestic and international students. Applicants are expected to submit the following documents:

  • High school transcript
  • Long and short essay
  • Bursary application form
  • English language proficiency test scores

Optional documents for applicants to submit are:

  • An original piece of work that demonstrates your interests and abilities, such as an artistic portfolio, video statement, or research project
  • SAT/ACT scores
  • Reference letters from educators or community members

Quest University Application Tuition Fee

The University is a non-profit organization and doesn’t receive any support from the government. Applicants can apply for various scholarships, bursaries, and government loan programs. Both Canadian and Non-Canadian students have fixed tuition of $35,000. The tuition doesn’t cover accommodation, books, medical insurance, etc.

Non-Canadian students are required to have health insurance, and all students are required to have a tablet or laptop computer. All students have the opportunity to apply for scholarships and bursaries. Quest students are also eligible for a variety of government loan programs.

Please note that Quest does not provide resources to cover room, board, travel, and other fees. Students can expect these costs to begin at ca. $15,000 per year.

Students can log into the Quest University portal, students are required to log in with their unique username and password. Students can access their personal calendar of events and links to necessary forms, e-Learning platforms, assignments, and other important class information. students can also manage their profile, view financial information, register/change classes and even create their email account

New Applicant Portal can update their application, check their status, submit documents, and receive decisions.

 

Quest University Housing

Living on Campus is a requirement. Quest’s residence community provides various social, recreational, and educational activities that contribute to students’ development. Students may, in certain circumstances, be permitted not to reside in the hostel provided that they give adequate reasons in writing. Accommodation cost $8,200 for both Canadian and non-Canadian students.

 

Cost of Attendance 2021-2022

The estimated annual cost of attendance (based on the full-time enrolment of two terms/eight Blocks). The exact cost depends on each student’s selection of meal plans and individual expenses. Students are billed per term.

(2) Students who fall within one of the following categories will be considered domestic and assessed domestic tuition:

  • Canadian citizens
  • Permanent residents of Canada
  • Persons with refugee status in Canada

(3) International students are required to have medical insurance. International students will be automatically enrolled in our guard.me international health insurance program.

(4) All students are required to have a tablet or laptop computer.

(5) Students who bring a vehicle to campus should plan for additional related expenses, including a fee for parking and registration.
