The University of Virginia is a public research institution In Charlottesville, Virginia. It was founded in 1819 by Thomas Jefferson and is one of the best colleges in the country. Furthermore, it offers admission to just a small number of students.

The University of Virginia is referred to as a “Public Ivy” because it provides academic experiences comparable to those found at Ivy League universities. And also, it is located within the Academical Village, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
