Olanrewaju Fasasi, popularly known as Sound Sultan, was a Nigerian recording artist, singer, songwriter, rapper, and comedian.
He was born in Jos, Plateau State on the 27th of November 1976 as the fourth child to his parents Mr Fasasi Liadi (Father) and Mrs Fasasi Adeyinka Ajarat (Mother).
Sultan started his education between 1981-1987, he went to Stepping Stone Nursery And Primary School before proceeding to Federal Government College, Ogbomosho where he attain his SSCE Certificate.
After his high school education, Sound Sultan continued to Lagos State University to study Geography And Regional Planning, in 1999 he successful graduated with a excellent degree.
His passion for music started in 1991, although he first began rapping in school parties, Sultan was officially known in the music industry in 2000 after releasing his song titled “Jagbajantis”
Jagbajantis was one of the trending music in Nigeria that year, infact after the release of that song, Sound Sultan music career change for good.
He was signed by Kinnis Music where he continued releasing wonderful music and Albums, after three years, Sultan later left Kinnis music in the year 2007. Sound Sultan has collaborated with different Nigerian artist like Wyclef, 2Face Idibia, Faze and others.
