Afolabi parents where originally from Ogun State but she was born on the 28th of April 1978 in Lagos State as the first daughter of three children in the family.
The beautiful actress attended Tunwashe Nursery and Primary School, Ikeja before progressing to A-z international School where she finalize her secondary education.
Kemi Afolabi graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Law from the Lagos State University. Her acting career started upon the completion of her tertiary schooling.
Her first movie as a Nollywood actress was “Alagba” after her appearance in the movie Kemi left the industry between 2008 to 2013 for her marriage preparation.
Thereupon her marriage to Wale Adesipe, An engineer and a Building Contractor, Kemi made her way back into the industry in 2013.
