He was born in Somolu local government area located in Lagos on 31st May 1983. Fabiyi did both his primary and secondary school education in Lagos State before proceeding to University where he graduated with a degree.

After completing his education, Yomi Fabiyi made his way into the Industry in 2001 through the help of Baba Suwe a prominent actor in Nollywood.

Upon joining the Industry, Yomi made his acting debut in a movie titled “Obelomo” a movie he acted together with Toyin Abraham.
