Recipients of the award must also remain on a non-immigrant student visa F-1 or J-1 to be eligible to for this scholarship.

2. The university of Maine International Dean’s Scholarship

The International Flagship Scholarship awards is the second on the list of international scholarship award by the institution.

The scholarship value sums up to US$10,000 per academic year to international undergraduate applicants.

Eligibility

The scholarship is available for first-year and transfer undergraduate students.

Students who receive the Canadian resident tuition rate are not eligible for this award. Similarly, Sponsored students are not eligible for this award.

3. The university of Maine International Flagship Scholarship

The university of MaineInternational Flagship Scholarship award value up to US$10,000 per academic year and it is exclusively for only international undergraduate applicants.

Eligibility

The requirement for this scholarship are quite similar to the international Dean’s scholarship.

International first-year and transfer undergraduate students are eligible to be considered for this award.

Students receiving the Canadian resident tuition rate are also not eligible for this award. Sponsored students are not eligible for this award.

Deadline for these scholarships

Students need to have a complete undergraduate application on file to be considered for all UMaine international scholarships.

  • For Spring admission – by November 1 of the previous year
  • For Fall admission – by February 1 of the same year

Students applying after these deadlines will also be considered for scholarships.
